This Institute will help you put prevention into practice.
Graduates will learn to build evidence-based public health programs, one step at a time.
You’ll learn how to:
- Assess community need
- Find partners
- Find programs
- Localize and customize programs
- Measure success
There will also be networking and funding opportunities available only to Institute graduates.

Commissioner Auerbach Back in Worcester
The Massachusetts Dept. of Public Health invites you to participate in their Fifth Round of Regional Health Dialogues. The Central Regional Dialogue will be on Friday, May 14th, 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the YWCA of Central Mass., One Salem Square, 01608. The panel will feature Michael O’Brien, City Manager, and Dennis Irish of St. Vincent Hospital. They will present on new local public health restructuring for the city of Worcester.
