Supports initiatives to expand and improve the use of existing public transportation, and advocates for more comprehensive public transit in Greater Worcester. The members meet the second Monday of every month from 10:00am to 11:30am at Union Station, Worcester.
The recent focus of the Transportation Work Group has been on Snow Removal and Winter Walkability. Common Pathways has been meeting in partnership with the City of Worcester Office of Human Rights, the Commission on Disabilities, and the Department of Public Health/Mass in Motion. The group has created an informational flyer detailing Worcester's snow removal ordinance and what people can and should do regarding keeping sidewalks clear of snow and ice. The flyer is available in English, Spanish, and Vietnamese.
